President Joe ran our most recent meeting this week which was held at Stoneforge.

We welcomed Olivia Sweeney, who is joining as part of the Boys and Girls Club of Metro South Corporate Membership. Welcome, Olivia.

We'll be at Sol de Mexico for our evening meeting on January 25th. Hopefully, many people can come, and also it's President Joe's birthday!

...our speaker was President Joe who ran a Club Assembly and offered a Mid-Year Report. Joe gave a great report, detailing the first half of his presidency and all the things that have been accomplished, as well as some things in the work for the remainder of his term.

His presentation was broken into the following topics:

Outreach to members
Constitution and bylaws
ClubRunner
Club Level Meetings
Financial Report
Interact Club
Plans for the rest of the year

and highlights included reports on our current strong financial position, streamlining the billing process and increased use of ClubRunner, and the great work that the Interact Club does. Plans include Family Fun Day, revision to the club bylaws and constitution, and continuing to streamline some of our processes.

John had 5 happy bucks in thanks of the support he received from club members over the past year, during his dad's illness and passing.
Jody had a happy buck for a great trip to Denver last week for a family event. He also had a buck to say thank you to Mr. Belichick.
Dick was happy for the Celtics and University of Kentucky basketball seasons starting well. He added a sad buck for long-time founding member of the TDC, Ed Roster, who passed at age 91.
Carol had a happy buck to be at the meeting and welcome Olivia, a sad buck that her granddaughter's basketball team is not doing very well, but added an extra happy buck that the team is having fun and Kirstin had a great volleyball season--so it's all good!
Ed had 5 sad dollars for the end of the Belichick era.
Joe had a happy buck for the Celtics, who recently set the franchise record for consecutive home wins to start a season. He had a happy buck for the recent board meeting attendance, and a third happy buck for the good attendance for his Mid-Year Report.
