Merry Christmas! (no Rotary this week) (Dec 20, 2018)

From the President

Our most recent meeting was held on December 20, 2018 and was a Pancake and Family Fun Day Planning meeting. There was then a board meeting immediately following lunch.

A reminder, no meeting on 12/27 for Christmas. Have a happy holiday!
Our next meeting will be January 3, and we will hear from Joe Livingston with his mid-year review.

Happy Bucks

Did you know that your happy and sad bucks help the club make a donation to the Rotary Foundation?

Carol had 5 happy bucks. The Head Start party was great. Her grandkids Ryan and Meghan recently completed the Raynham half marathon and are training for others. Meghan is a sophomore at Emmanuel and just made Dean's List. And finally, she wished a Merry Christmas to everyone.
Dave C. recently saw Ray McAndrews while Christmas shopping. Ray gave a buck for Dave to share and say hi to everyone.
Johnny B. was sad to miss Head Start party. He also had a happy buck to be able to be at Rotary, and even though he hasn't made it to as many meetings as he'd like, he really enjoys it.
Dick Shafer had 5 happy bucks. He had a nice visit with Don Shearstone who is recovering well from a heart operation and some follow-ups. He also just got to ring the bell for completing 40 treatments for prostate cancer. A huge congrats for that!
Joe L. was sad that a coworker and friend died unexpectedly recently. Sad to have missed the celebration at Taunton High School a few weeks ago. But he was happy to be at the leadership conference that prevented his attendance. He also a bittersweet buck for the last Christmas the Livingston clan will all get to spend together as his brother in the seminary is going to be pretty busy in the future around this time.
Darrell was sorry to miss the Head Start party. He also thinks his daughter made Dean's list.
We then presented the happiest of all the bucks to Matt for all of his work!
