Our most recent meeting was held on June 12, 2025, and led by President George Mendros. We had a busy meeting!
We welcomed two guests, Alina Poklad and Visiting Rotarian Dane Rank of the Rotary Club of Brattleboro.
Carol Sullivan shared Rotary in the News.
We formally installed Kris Silva from the Taunton Area Chamber of Commerce. Welcome, Kris!

At Our Most Recent Meeting...
...Dave spoke to the club to provide a final update before the big day. He reported that Family Fun Day raised $18,100, with expenses coming in just under $4,000—a fantastic result! Special thanks to Luka B for donating decals, and to Davol for generously providing placemats at no charge. Congrats to Dave for all his efforts and for making our biggest event of the year a great success!
🎉 Family Fun Day 2025 Recap
Despite some less-than-perfect weather, Family Fun Day 2025 was a hit! The event brought together families, Interactors, and community members for a fun-filled day of games, crafts, food, and connection. A big thank you to everyone who volunteered, participated, or supported the event—it’s moments like these that showcase the heart of our Rotary community. We’re already looking forward to next year!
Jody celebrated his 43rd anniversary with the club last week—congrats, Jody!
Mike C. is happy and proud that his daughter graduated from high school, and they had a great family celebration over the weekend.
Sarah gave $10 happy bucks for all the great things happening at PRIDE!
Carol Sullivan shared a happy buck in appreciation of Dave for all his hard work.
Dave was happy to have attended the Taunton River Festival, and even happier that Portugal won the Nations League last weekend in a thrilling game.
Ed shared a happy buck for his oldest granddaughter graduating from middle school, and a sad buck for a member of her softball circle who tragically passed away in a deck collapse in Rhode Island.
Bob R. gave a hopeful and happy buck for good weather on Saturday.
Alina shared 10 happy bucks for being able to visit the YMCA pool and feel the sense of movement for the therapy she did!
Will is happy to be back at a meeting and shared proud news: Julia graduated two weeks ago, Sarah finished her first year at PC and made the Dean’s List, about 15 Interactors are joining Family Fun Day, and RYLA students will be sharing at the year-end meeting.
George thanked Will for his work with RYLA and shared a happy buck for Dave’s efforts on Family Fun Day.
