Club News & Announcements

We were glad to be back at Stoneforge for the first time in a while! President Bob hoped everyone enjoyed a happy holiday season.
 
This week, we will be having an evening meeting instead of a lunch meeting. We'll be at Stoneforge at 5:30 p.m. (on Bob Hunt's birthday...)
 
The Board is looking to schedule and plan some events this spring, including an Interact dinner and an Honors event.  Each event will be worked on by a committee, and if you'd like to join either, or both, please reach out to Bob
 
The District 7950 mid-year meeting is coming up on Jan 21. All are invited. Bob and Joe are going

Girls Inc. sent a thank you card for the mitten donation which was passed around.
 
Updated meals billings have gone out.  The board is working to catch up after not collecting meals dues for a while. You should have received an email with the amount owed, and if you didn't or have any questions please reach out to Bob.

...we officially welcomed Jen Perry of PRIDE, Inc. and learned more about as part of her classification talk. We look forward to connecting more and welcome to Jen!

Happy/Sad Bucks

  • Ed had 5 happy bucks for his Book of Useless Information which he got for $5.

  • Julie had a grateful buck that travels went well for Bob and Michelle.  She also had a happy buck to have been selected for Mass Realtors Leadership Training.

  • Joanne had a happy buck to have Jen here today for her Classification Talk.

  • Dick was happy for his recent trip to NYC right after the holidays after his planned trip to Myrtle Beach and Charleston was cancelled by the airline. Also, stay tuned for a Taunton to Taunton trip in early 2024. 

  • Zulmira had two bucks. She was sad that AHS didn't sell our their scratch ticket raffle chances in time for a Jan 1 drawing, but happy that it's been extended another month now everyone has a chance to buy a ticket!

  • Harry had a happy buck because he enjoyed the presentation at the OCHM last week (thanks, Harry!) And an extra happy buck for his wife who's coming home after 3 weeks in the hospital! 

  • John had a happy buck that his father came home from the hospital the day before Christmas. A sad buck that both of his parents had COVID between Thanksgiving and Christmas.  A happy buck for his some Connor joining an inclusion class at Mulcahey. A sad buck for Nerds To Go leaving the Trucchi's complex but a happy buck to be moving to a great office space in Middleboro. A happy buck for his other business growing well. And, in general, all good things!
