Triumph Inc. and Headstart
Karen Ennis is the Executive Director of Triumph, Inc. Head Start and Early Head Start program serving families in Taunton & Raynham.
Since 1995, Karen has dedicated her career to preparing the most vulnerable young children to develop the skills necessary for success in Kindergarten and beyond through high-quality early childhood programming.
Her work with Head Start has allowed her the opportunity to take a two-generational approach to this work. Preparing parents to harness their most important skill as their child’s first teacher, as well as engaging them in their own journey toward self-sufficiency, has become one of the most rewarding endeavors of her career.
Karen is currently the Chairperson for the New England Head Start Association and member of the Department of Children Youth & Families Advisory Board.
Karen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She began her journey as a kindergarten teacher assistant, pre-kindergarten teacher, education coordinator, Early Reading First Project Manager, and grant writer. All of these experiences leading her to her current position at Triumph.
