At Our Most Recent Meeting...
...we welcomed guest speaker Cindy Conquest from Easterseals, who shared an overview of their equine-assisted services and the work being done at The Bridge Center in Bridgewater. The Bridge Center, which opened in March 2023, provides inclusive recreational and therapeutic programming designed to support individuals of all abilities through movement, connection, and community. Cindy highlighted how equine-assisted services play a unique role in building confidence, emotional regulation, and physical strength in a supportive, adaptive environment.
Cindy also shared that The Bridge Center is still growing and continues to welcome new clients. As the program expands, Easterseals is always looking for volunteers to support their equine-assisted services and help make these opportunities accessible to more individuals and families in the community.
