...we were entertained and educated on currency and currency collecting by Ed Fowler! As always, he brought dozens of interesting examples related to his topic. This time, he covered the recent increase in demand for gold and silver, as well as his successful auction pickups of historic Taunton banknotes.
The highlights were too numerous to recount, but included specialty gold coins, examples of silver bars, and rare Taunton banknotes he’s been able to gather and bring home.
And don’t forget! If you have any 1964 Kennedy half dollars, they are 90% silver (not just 40%), so keep them!
